About us

Watford Citizens Advice Bureau are based just off the High Street and has a general advice service for walk-in clients. We ask that everyone has a short interview (appox 10 mins) to determine their needs and then if appropriate make an appointment usually on the same day or soon after.

We currently have 7 paid members of staff and 44 volunteers, with five interview rooms and access for differently disabled clients and workers.

The majority of advisers are trained volunteers, helping the Citizens Advice service to resolve over seven million new problems every year.

Our service couldn’t survive without our 21,500 fantastic volunteers, but we need around 5,000 more. We’re looking for all sorts of people with different backgrounds and skills to volunteer with us for a uniquely rewarding experience.

About the Citizens Advice service

There are 338 Citizens Advice Bureaux across England and Wales, all of which are members of Citizens Advice.

Together, we are the Citizens Advice service, and we help people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers.

Support us

Because every Citizens Advice Bureau is an independent charity we rely on the support of people like you.

With a Citizens Advice Bureau in the community people always have somewhere to turn in times of crisis, but the unmet demand for our service is growing. Can you help us to help more people?
