About us

Tunbridge Wells and District CAB consists of two bureaux, Cranbrook and Tunbridge Wells and several outreach points including Bliss Café in Southborough, No 1 Showfields, Pembury Library and TN2 Sherwood.  We also have an outreach bus which visits various villages around the Borough including St Andrew’s church in Paddock Wood.

In addition to generalist advisers we have debt and employment caseworkers, a mental health adviser, and a home visiting team to support the elderly.

The majority of advisers are trained volunteers, helping the Citizens Advice service to resolve over seven million new problems every year.

Our service couldn’t survive without our 21,500 fantastic volunteers, but we need around 5,000 more. We’re looking for all sorts of people with different backgrounds and skills to volunteer with us for a uniquely rewarding experience.

About the Citizens Advice service

There are 338 Citizens Advice Bureaux across England and Wales, all of which are members of Citizens Advice.

Together, we are the Citizens Advice service, and we help people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers.

Support us

Because every Citizens Advice Bureau is an independent charity we rely on the support of people like you.

With a Citizens Advice Bureau in the community people always have somewhere to turn in times of crisis, but the unmet demand for our service is growing. Can you help us to help more people?
