Bury District CAB Service was formed in 1997 through the merger of Bury, Radcliffe and Prestwich bureaux.
We aim to promote the well being of the community, providing a free, comprehensive, accessible, quality marked and independent advice service to the population of the Bury Metro area.
We encourage people to help themselves where practical and use the experience of our clients anonymously to exercise a responsible influence on social policy.
We work hard to ensure all sections of the community have access to the services we provide and that our volunteers and staff represent the community. We work with others to provide local advice services.
Our highly trained volunteers come from all sorts of backgrounds and help with everything we do.

The Citizens Advice network
All local Citizens Advice are part of the Citizens Advice network providing advice in 2,500 locations across England and Wales.
We have over 21,500 volunteers supporting the delivery of our work alongside 7,000 paid staff.
Our service is worth at least £750 million to society.
We're an independent charity and without the generous support of people like you, we couldn't continue to do the work we do.
