Barking and Dagenham CAB service is a registered charity that provides information and advice on issues such as housing, welfare benefits, employment, debt and relationship breakdown. We are also able to provide specialist advice for clients experiencing discrimination.
Our general advice service is available to people who live or work in the borough. However, if you live and work outside of the borough we may be able to help you if your enquiry concerns debt and you qualify for legal aid. You may get legal aid if you are on a low income. We take social policy action on local and national issues. We are free, confidential, independent and impartial.
Our highly trained volunteers come from all sorts of backgrounds and help with everything we do.

The Citizens Advice network
All local Citizens Advice are part of the Citizens Advice network providing advice in 2,500 locations across England and Wales.
We have over 21,500 volunteers supporting the delivery of our work alongside 7,000 paid staff.
Our service is worth at least £750 million to society.
We're an independent charity and without the generous support of people like you, we couldn't continue to do the work we do.
